Free Minutes
All Tencent Cloud accounts (UIN) that have activated the TRTC monthly package (including Call, Conference, Live, RTC-Engine, Conversational AI) can receive a free time package of 10,000 minutes each month within a year. A maximum of one free time package can be received per month, and the usage generated by all TRTC (including Call, Conference, Live, RTC-Engine,Conversational AI) can be deducted.
Notes on free time package:
The remaining free minutes for each month will expire on the last day of the current cycle and cannot be used in the next cycle.
For example, if you receive the free minutes on November 15, 2022, they would be valid from November 15, 2022 to December 14, 2022.
When the monthly 10,000-minute free usage quota is exhausted, the following deduction order applies:
If valid package minutes remain (monthly packages or RTC Engine Top-Up Packages), those minutes will be consumed first.
If no packages are available:
Pay-as-you-go enabled: The service automatically switches to pay-as-you-go billing with no interruption.
Pay-as-you-go not enabled: The service becomes unavailable. To restore access, either purchase a package or enable pay-as-you-go billing. Service resumes immediately upon restoration.
Note：
For UINs registered on or after Beijing Time July 25, 2024 (inclusive), the free usage package can be used to offset minutes generated by Audio/Video Calls, Interactive Live Streaming, Cloud Recording, Stream Mixing & Transcoding, Recording Delivery to Tencent Cloud, Recording Delivery to Third Party, Web Page Recording, Live Video Streaming Audience, AI Real-Time Conversation, Voice-to-Text, AI Real-Time Translation, and Real-Time Speech Synthesis.
Free minutes are deducted at the following ratios:

Free duration will be deducted from the total minutes according to the following offset ratios. Types not listed in the table below cannot use free duration for offset.

Live's Audio Room Audio and Video Duration
: Audio and video usage generated when using Voice Chat Room and Karaoke Room Component .
Live's Video Live Anchor Duration
: Audio and video usage generated by the host role when using Video Streaming Component.
Live Streaming Audience Duration
: Audio and video usage generated by the audience role when using Video Streaming Component.
