Facial feature extraction enables you to isolate specific facial features from a face, generating clear and distinct images of individual features. You can position these extracted features anywhere on the canvas to create unique visual effects. For example, you might place eyes in the center of the forehead, or display facial features on an open palm.
Basic Usage
Step 1: Create a Facial Feature Extraction Object
1. Add a facial feature extraction object in the Object panel.
2. Once facial feature extraction is enabled, a file named RenderTarget_FaceInset1.rdt will appear in the Resource panel. This file contains the output from the segmentation process—the extracted facial features are stored here and can later be used as stickers.
Step 2: Select the Extraction Area
Select the features you want to extract in the Component panel.
Step 3: Add Face-Following Stickers to Extracted Features
1. Add a face-following sticker in the Object panel. You can also add foreground stickers, gesture-following stickers, body-following stickers, or cat-face-following stickers.
2. Select the sticker file. At this stage, the sticker represents the extracted facial feature.
3. Adjust the position and size of the sticker as needed to finalize the facial feature extraction setup.
