Feature Overview

Integrating Plugins

Starting from version 7.5, the voice-to-text feature is provided by the plugin TUIVoiceToTextPlugin.
If you do not need the voice-to-text feature, simply do not integrate the plugin. The Convert button will not be displayed when you long press a voice message.
If you need the voice-to-text feature, you must integrate TUIChat and TUIVoiceToTextPlugin. For integration methods, refer to Integrating TUIKit (Android/iOS). No further settings are required after integration. The Convert button will be displayed automatically when you long press a voice message.
Note:
TUIVoiceToTextPlugin is dependent on TUIChat and cannot be integrated individually.
Only voice messages are supported. Text, image, video, file, emoji, and custom messages are not supported for voice-to-text conversion.
The currently supported source languages include Chinese, Cantonese, English, and Japanese. For details, refer to Language Support.
