Validity Period
The package is valid from the day of purchase to the same day the following month. For example, if a package was bought on March 1st, 2024, its validity period would be from March 1st, 2024 to April 1st, 2024.
How to Use
1. RTC Engine, Call，Conference，Live，Chat
The package becomes effective immediately after purchase, and the package features directly bind to the application, identified by the
SDKAppID. It depends on which application you selected at the time of purchase. If you have multiple applications that need to use the same product capability, you need to purchase multiple packages.
For example, if your application 123456 has purchased the Conference, and your other application 222222 also wants to use the Conference features, you will need to purchase another Conference package specifically for application 222222.
2. Beauty AR
You can purchase the Beauty AR Starter Plan and obtain a license. Each domain can be bound to a Starter Plan License only once. The validity period starts from the time of purchase, so please use it as soon as possible. For detailed instructions on creating and binding the license, please refer to the Beauty AR User Guide.
Purchase Limit and Eligibility
Each account is limited to purchasing Starter Plan only once per product. For instance, if you have already purchased the Chat Starter Plan, you can still purchase the Conference Starter Plan, but you cannot purchase the Chat Starter Plan again.
The Starter Plan is exclusively for new users of the product. If you have previously purchased any official package for a product, you will not be eligible for that product's Starter Plan discount.
Renewal and Upgrade Rules
Automatic Renewal: Only the Starter Plans for Chat and Beauty AR support auto-renewal at the original price. For example, if auto-renewal is enabled when purchasing the Chat Starter Plan, it will automatically renew as the Chat Pro Plan the following month for a fee of 699 USD.
Upgrading During Validity Period:
Upgrade Rules: During the validity period, the Starter Plans for Call, Conference, Live, and RTC Engine can be upgraded to any official package. For example, the Live Starter Plan can be upgraded to Live Lite, Live Standard, or Live Pro within its validity period. Please note that once the Starter Plan expires, it can no longer be upgraded, and you will need to purchase any official package.
Upgrade Price Calculation: The upgrade price is calculated as:
(Upgraded plan list price - Previous plan list price) × Remaining validity days / Total validity days.
Note: The list price of the RTC Engine Starter Plan is 49.5 USD/month. The list price of the Call, Conference, and Live Starter Plans is 95 USD/month.
Available Minutes in the Upgraded Plan: The available minutes in the upgraded plan are calculated as:
(Upgraded plan available minutes - Previous plan available minutes) × Remaining validity days / Total validity days.
Please note, the Starter Plans for Chat and Beauty AR do not support upgrades during the validity period. You may choose to enable automatic renewal at the time of purchase or manually renew the same version within the validity period.
Pay-as-You-Go Supported
During the validity period of a package, the pay-as-you-go privileges are automatically activated for your account. Any usage beyond the package will be charged on a daily postpaid basis, ensuring the continuous service. For the pay-as-you-go billing mode, please check here.
After the package expires, if you do not have any valid packages, your pay-as-you-go privileges will be deactivated. To continue using the service, we recommend subscribing to our official monthly package with automatic renewal.
FAQs
Question 1: Why did my order fail?
Answer: There are two possible reasons. One is that you may not meet the purchase requirements for the promotion, such as not being a new user or having already purchased the Starter Plan of the product before. The other is that you have a pending payment order. Please check the Console for any pending payments. If the payment is not finished within 15 minutes, the order will be automatically canceled, and you can place a new order afterward.
Question 2: What happens when I use up the package duration？
Answer: If the duration in the package is exhausted and the package has not yet reached its expiration, the exceeded duration will be settled and billed according to the pay-as-you-go pricing.
Question 3: I have already purchased the Conference Starter Plan. Can I still buy Starter Plans for other products?
Answer: Yes, as long as you haven't purchased the official package for the corresponding product, you can repeatedly buy Starter Plans for different products. Please note, each product's Starter Plan can be purchased only once.
Others
1. Both main and sub-accounts can purchase this package. Please note, for each product you can only purchase Starter Plan once in total.
2. Promotion Terms and Conditions：Only customers who directly purchase Tencent Cloud (including trtc.io) services directly from Tencent Cloud (including trtc.io) are eligible to enjoy this promotion offer; Any customers who purchase Tencent Cloud (including trtc.io) services through resellers are not eligible to participate in this promotional offer.
