Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | 9 February 2025 – Tencent Cloud, the cloud business of global technology leader Tencent, today announced the launch of its first Middle East Cloud Region in Saudi Arabia, powered by Tencent Real-Time Communication (TRTC) technologies. The region will feature two advanced availability zones, delivering cutting-edge SaaS and PaaS solutions—including TRTC’s industry-leading low-latency communication capabilities—to drive digital transformation across industries such as gaming, media, e-commerce, and fintech.

The new Cloud Region, set to go live by 2025, integrates Tencent RTC’s robust infrastructure into Saudi Arabia’s digital ecosystem. This expansion adds Saudi Arabia to Tencent RTC’s global network of over 50 availability zones across 21 regions, reinforcing its ability to deliver seamless real-time communication solutions worldwide.At the heart of this initiative is TRTC, Tencent’s proprietary real-time communication platform, which enables enterprises to build immersive, high-quality interactive experiences.
